Other Groups and Meetings

Coffee & Chat [Mondays 10.00 am - 12.00 noon)

Come and join us for a coffee and chat in the meeting place. We meet every Monday morning apart from Bank Holidays.

For more information contact Emer McNeela.

Prayer Group [Wednesdays 10.00 am)

There are approximately 11 members of the prayer group at present, together with telephone link members, and more are always welcome. We pray in turn for all the groups who use our buildings, and many opportunities for service are offered by the prayer requests, which are left in the box on the Welcome Area table. We also offer prayers of thanksgiving and share concerns for members of the church family, local, national and international events. The bond formed by praying together is like no other and you would be warmly welcomed to join us.

For more information contact Morag Gregson.

Ladies Fellowship [Tuesdays 2.30-4.00 pm)

Ladies Fellowship caters mainly for ladies of retirement age, but any ladies are welcome to join us. We enjoy friendship and fellowship, with a variety of interesting activities, always with a cup of tea and biscuits! We have heard talks about Essex Air Ambulance and Southend Parks and Gardens, welcomed Ted Jeffries with his wood carvings, and enjoyed a visit from the Pearly King and Queen from the Isle of Dogs. We have also had a visit to Porters and enjoyed a Garden Party and Christmas and Birthday Tea, to name a few. We have a summer break for July and August.

There is a small charge of £3 per term plus 50p per meeting.
